Best Answer: The flight attendants will pass out the landing cards on the plane before you land. It's just a small form you fill out with your personal info, passport number, location you are visiting, etc.
US citizen visiting the UK: I put my stay as 'one month' on my landing card but now I'm thinking about staying for three months. Do I need to contact the embassy?
I know that general visitors can visit for up to 6 months, but I'm wondering if because I put 1 month on my landing card when I got here, if I will get in trouble with immigration for staying longer than that amount of time. Does anyone have any experience with this? I mean I figure they won't care as long as I leave within 3 months, but should I still contact the US Embassy anyway? Should I contact someone else?
