A new Coldplay documentary has been announced by Amazon, using footage filmed over the band’s 20 year history.

The film is titled A Head Full of Dreams after the band’s 2015 album of the same name. It will be available to stream on November 16 via Amazon Prime Video in the UK, USA, Australia and New Zealand, then globally shortly afterwards.

You can watch the first trailer for the film below, which features early footage of the groups earliest days, including clips of Chris Martin in braces promising that the then-unknown band will one day be “absolutely huge”.

It also references the hardships the band have faced along the way, including critical backlash to their music, EMI’s major profit plunge after their fourth LP ‘Viva La Vida‘ was repeatedly delayed, and inner-band tensions.

“We’ve been through so much together, but what’s incredible to me is that we’ve stuck together as a pack,” says Martin in the trailer.

The film was directed by Mat Whitecross, the man behind the Oasis documentary Supersonic, the 2012 comedy based around the Stone Roses‘ legendary 1990 gigSpike Island and the Ian Dury biopic Sex & Drugs & Rock & Roll.

Whitecross first met the band members before they’d even formed, and has been filming the group since their first rehearsal in a student bedroom. He has directed videos for Coldplay tracks like ‘Paradise’, ‘A Sky Full Of Stars’ and ‘Adventure Of A Lifetime’.

Coldplay just released Mylo Xyloto, their fifth studio album, so it seemed like a good time to ask our readers about their favorite songs by the band. Judging by your response, it's safe to say that most of you haven't spent enough time with the record to consider any of its tracks your all-time favorite. But that's cool! Coldplay write the kind of songs that benefit from familiarity, so there's a good chance that if we ask the question again in a few years, more than a few of you would end up stumping for Mylo Xyloto cuts like 'Paradise,' 'Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall' or 'Hurts Like Heaven.'

Here are your picks for the 10 best Coldplay songs.
